Which diet pills work?

My friend and I are starting our diets today and we are doing the low carb diets and we want to use a diet pill with it. Which one has worked for you? Thank You
Answer:
There are many reasons to proceed with extreme caution when using diet pills. While it's true that sometimes you may actually lose a little weight with them, the pounds return once you stop taking the product. Most of these weight loss quick fixes include a small-print recommendation that you also adopt a lower-calorie diet and an exercise program -- which is going to help you lose weight anyway. And supplements generally aren't well regulated, so the actual content of the active ingredients in diet pills can vary widely from product to product. Even more worrisome, all diet pills have potentially dangerous side effects. Everyone knows that people who take prescription medications need to check with their physicians before using any type of weight loss supplement. But even healthy people who aren't taking any other meds have experienced negative health effects from diet pills. The bottom line: Always check with your physician before you take anything that promises to "melt off the weight." As for a low carb diet, critics contend that low carbohydrate diets are not without harmful side effects. The lowered intake of dietary fiber that often accompanies dramatically reduced carbohydrate intake can result in constipation if not supplemented. For example, this has been a criticism of the Induction stage of the Atkins diet (note that today the Atkins diet is more clear about recommending a fiber supplement during Induction).Increased consumption of animal-based products may lead into high consumption of saturated fat and cholesterol, which some dietitians claim will increase the risk of heart disease. Moreover, it has been hypothesized that a diet related change in blood acidity can lead to bone loss[citation needed]. This hypothesis, however, is incorrectly based on a common confusion between ketosis and the related process, ketoacidosis, as mentioned earlier in this article. One of the telltale signs of diet consisting on too little fat and too much protein is noticeable smell of ammonia in the urine.Cutting out carbohydrates may mean missing out on vital nutrients from healthy carbohydrate foods which should be part of any well-balanced diet, especially those from fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Some of this can be remedied by integrating various kinds of offal and fish into the diet. Most low-carb diets emphasize intake of carbohydrates as fresh vegetables instead of cereals and bakery products.Eating a healthy diet and exercising are the most tried and true ways to lose weight and maintain a healthy body!
