Whey protein, can i take it after a 2 mile run.?

i have bought whey protein. and i take it after i lift weights, but i dont work out the fallowing day, i do a two mile run. would it be beneficial to take it after the run. also i have heard taking it right before bed is good too, how many nights a week should i take it before bedalso please awnser the questions i asked im getting a lot of nonclear awnsers having nothing to do with what i asked

If you are body building, a "protein shake" only after working out ain't gonna get it. You need about 200 grams of protein a day, every day...your body grows AFTER the workout, not during it. The workout tears up muscles, the repair is where the growth happens. If you do not have sufficient protein, the muscle mass cannot be put on. You should probaby be supplimenting with 3 of these shakes or more every day.
