While working out should I drink WATER??

I recently bought a treadmill and was wondering whether I should be drinking while working out or not?Is it bad to do this or should I keep hydrated?
Answer:
Drinking Water
Staying hydrated is vital to keeping your body temperature and electrolyte level balanced. When dehydrated, you can become fatigued, experience headaches, nausea, dizziness, heat illness and heat stroke.
How much water should you drink?
The old adage of 8 glasses a day is no longer true. Instead, think about how much you weigh and divide that number in half. That's how many ounces of water you should drink per day. For instance, a person who is 200 pounds, should drink 100 oz. of water per day to be adequately hydrated. (That's 12.5 glasses of water!) An athlete with a high level of muscle mass should drink even more, about two-thirds of their body weight in ounces per day. Are you dehydrated?
The easiest way to tell is to look at the color of your urine. The clearer it is, the more hydrated you are. If your urine is gold or deep yellow, you need to drink more water.Should you drink water while you exercise? And how do you prevent that sloshing feeling inside your stomach?
Yes, you should drink about 8 oz. every 15 minutes while exercising. If you drink smaller amounts (say 4 oz. at a time), you'll keep from getting that uncomfortable sloshing feeling, which often occurs when we get too thirsty and drink too much water at a time.Water vs. sports drinks-which is better?
Sports drinks contain extra sugar and calories that can benefit a real endurance athlete (someone who is exercising for 4 hours or more) or someone in an extremely hot environment. Otherwise, water is always a better choice both physically and economically.Bottled water-is it better for you?
Some bottled waters come from springs and some from metropolitan sources. It comes down to an individual's choice, which you prefer or whether you'd rather drink tap water. Just be sure to stay hydrated no matter which type of water you choose to drink
if you feel thirsty you should drink water, this means you are not hydrated. If you are not thirsty you are hydrated. Do you get thirsty while running? Then drink water
Yes definitly. Keep hydrated. I wouldn't suck down a lot of water while youre running or walking because it will make you feel weighed down. But keep sipping to feel refreshed. When you're done working out drink lots and lots of water!!
Its very good to stay hydrated while your working out!
of course!everyone drinks water while working out
or doing some kind of excercise!it's not bad at all!
I would definitely be hydrated prior to exercising.
You should always have water available to you while working out.
But the idea is to stay hydrated, by drinking half your weight in water on a regular basis every day anyway.
So good luck.
OK when your completely over with the workout that's when u drink H2O or Gatorade.if u drink while you're working out you'll probably get stomach cramps.
you should deffinitly drink lots of water so you don't get dehydrated.
A trainers advice to me was, drink water and make sure it is cold. The cells respond better to the cold water. Bow flex trainers also recommend this.
water, gatorade, powerade, anything but carbornated drinks. that'll give you cramps
It is important in all sports to keep hydrated. But you do not drink any water at all while doing the martial arts.
for sure
It's very important to stay hydrated while working out. Just make sure you are taking sips and not huge gulps. If you drink too much and start running on the treadmill it might bother your stomach. It's also important to drink water when you are finished working out to rehydrate yourself.
You should drink water before during, and after you exercise. If you feel thirsty, it is your body telling you it is already dehydrated.
you should drink water when you are finish working out It better for the body, especially the stomach.
If your thirsty it's to late any trainer will tell that. Do keep hydrated!
yes so you dont get dehydrated
